Sin Feng Xiang Sheng Society <\/span> Presents<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

LOL in School<\/strong><\/p>\n

Established in 1985, Sin Feng Xiang Sheng Society has played an important role in spreading and maintaining high standards of the traditional performing art of Xiang Sheng, commonly known as Chinese Crosstalk. Workshops and performances conducted by the society at various schools in Singapore were well received by students and teachers alike.<\/p>\n

In the hope of promoting this traditional preforming art to local students, and at the same time help students develop a stronger interest in Chinese language and culture, Sin Feng Xiang Sheng Society will be embarking on a program called \u201cLaughing Out Loud in School\u201d (LOL in School). The program aims to introduce the basic concepts of puns and the witty use of Chinese language in Xiang Sheng scripts.<\/p>\n

With many years of knowledge and experience in scripting and performing the art of Xiang Sheng, the four coaches, Johnny Ng, Yong Ser Pin, Kee Keng Yong and Soo Wee Seng will conduct \u201cLOL in School\u201d by engaging students in lively performances with scripts tailored to the demographics of the audience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
